Is Autumn Over?
First of all, I just want to thank everyone for their prayers for Tate. We feel them strengthening us! The doctor's appointment has been changed to December 21st because the doctor will not be in on November 30th. While I guess this may be a blessing since Tate's head may miraculously grow in a month's time, it also just increases the time we have to wait in anxiety.
Is Autumn over? I hope not! It's been a beautiful fall and I wish it would last forever. It already has stretched halfway through November...I don't think I'd mind if it lasted until Christmas Eve! The only thing that will prevent me from being sad about the end of fall is the anticipation of Thanksgiving and Christmas! This year we'll be spending Thanksgiving with my family and Christmas with Patrick's.
One of the best memories we made was to make "Gingibread Houses." (This is how Easton says Gingerbread houses.) Because neither Patrick or I are architects, we put our walls up wrong causing it to fall apart. I was about to give up but Patrick urged me on so I just slathered on some more frosting and got it to stay up. Phew! Easton thought the best part was eating his house the next day.
Here are some of the pictures:
