The rest of the green day.

Lucky Charms.

She looks like a tulip...

...and with her pretty red hair, I think she could pass for Irish.

A green dinner.

Then a rainbow bath.

With Shamrock cookies.

And rainbow shaving cream.

And green towels to top it off.

I love holidays.

St. Patrick's Day is our Holiday.

We claim it as ours...seeing as my maiden name is Greene and my sweetheart's name is Patrick...

Next Step: Move to a castle in Ireland?
                  Realistically? No. {But a lovely dream all the same}

Agenda:
     *For breakfast--Lucky Charms in green bowls with green cups of milk
     *For play--Rainbow Bingo and Gaelic Highlander games
     *For dinner--Ham, Green Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli, and Lime jello
     *Before bed--Rainbow shave cream in a glowing rainbow bathtub for the boys

{My Maylie}

{I wish this dress could grow up with you, Sugar Plum}

{All that red, please stay.}

{Your little pucker melts me}

{But then again, every bit of you is angelic}

"It is the nature of grace to fill the places that have been empty."
~Goethe

And so it has been with the gift of you, Maylie Grace.  Not that my life was running on empty before...but there were places in my heart that I'd been saving just for you.  And now that they're filled, life could not possibly be lovelier.

Just the girls.

I've always loved planning.  And this day was no different.

Menu: For lunch, French Dip sandwiches, chips, and all sorts of fruit with peach dip.  For dessert, pull-apart bread and raspberry frappe [which we sort of ran out of time to make].

Activities:  The ungame questions [to build relationships], skip-bo, the game of things [which was absolutely hysterically funny...], two white elephant exchanges [see the pics below], and a service auction.
     *I won Sadie's free babysitting services for a night.
     *Jacee won Megan's free babysitting services for a night and Megan won Jacee's free dinner.
     *Melissa won my free family photography shoot.
     *Mom won a lunch trip with Melissa.
     *And Sadie won a free hour of house cleaning from Mom...which will actually be changed since Mom cleans her house anyway :)

All in all, a beautiful afternoon.  I love these girls.

And while we played, my boys did too...
