Alpine Slide
It's something I did more times than I can count when I was a girl. And something I've always wanted my boys (and Maylie someday) to do too.
So today we did. The boys had a blast as I knew they would and I just enjoyed the breathtaking vistas (and tried not to get too scared on the chairlift).
We ate a picnic lunch at a park and then met up with my sweet friend Gina and her darling daughter.
The only hard part was the drive. Maylie just can't stand bring in the car and cries no matter what we do. The 3 1/2 hour drive to the cabin was taxing and today's trip was just as bad. I'm not quite sure how we're going to make the trip home in a few days.
But alas, today was full and fulfilling. And the best part is it's not yet over. It's time now to relax and rest up so we can go to the Spud drive in tonight. I'm just praying Maylie will enjoy it.... so we can enjoy it too.
