I Will Rise.

This song resounded deeply today.

I know we will rise as resurrected beings before our Maker to worship and praise Him.  Sometimes it seems like this day is so far away that we hardly pay it any mind.  But today I have new resolve to keep this future hope alive in me--and let it paint my days with courage and peace to live by the Spirit, so I can one day, return Home.

Praise to the Man.

We forge onward with our long-standing ritual of singing a song to the boys before every nap and bedtime.  And this year they choose their all-time favorite: Praise to the Man {sometimes twice, but we limit it to once a day}.

Being the Primary Chorister gives me the beautiful incentive to have my little Sunbeam know all of the songs by heart.  So it is no surprise that Easton can sing this beautiful hymn of the restoration without flaw.

The amazing thing is...Tate knows it too.
And I often find him all alone singing the hymn to himself as he goes about whatever he is doing.
The other day I was fortunate enough to catch it on tape.
