When we came to check on you and cover you up last night around 11:00pm (as is tradition), we found you sound asleep in your shoes.
It was the most adorable and hilarious thing either of us had seen all day.
I just had to take a picture.
I don't want you to grow up but tonight is evidence that you are.
When I asked you today if you remembered putting on your shoes, you got a big smile on your face and proudly told me "I did it by all myself."
And you did.
Somehow I want to stay in this transition forever--right between big and little.
My Mother {your Nana} used to want to give me "stay little pills." And whenever I would eat smarties I would tell her that I was eating stay little pills.
I really wish I had some for you. Of course, there is no such thing. That's why Heavenly Father created the word "cherish."
I will try to cherish you every moment, Easton. I promise.

I love the precious sleeping pics...I just took some of Daniel too... They really grow up to fast.
so cute!! seriously- they do grow up so fast! and it's super fun every new step (even teenagerhood), but it makes me sad to think that in only a few years my firstborn will walk out my door! why are they in such a hurry to grow up?????
