Etched in permanent marker.
On our floor we etched in our family and personal mottoes--the themes that all lace together to form the undergirding of our lives. Soon they will be covered with carpet and tile, but every time we enter the thresholds of our front door and bedroom doors, we will know that we stand on holy ground.

what a precious idea! someday when you have to replace the carpet maybe you'll get a little peak and I just bet it will make you cry remembering your sweeties so young!!
I love this idea!!
I loved everyone's themes! It will be so special to know that is written underneath your flooring and to teach your children over the years as they grow up unto the Lord, standing in holy places!
